RH9 Installation problem

Hello,
This is my first post on this mailing-list, and I'm never use RH Linux
before.
So this is also my first on installing RH 9 on my computer.

I meet a problem in installing Red Hat Linux 9. It's fine with the
installation process, but when it come to the end when the computer need to
start booting it give me some error. I've choosed remove all linux partition
and auto partition.
The dual boot is work well, but when I choose RH 9 the x windows won't run.
( I install with graphical mode)

After booting and some checking, my computer stop running and the display
show " INIT: Id "x" respawning too fast: disabled for 5 minutes ". When I
press enter, the login appear, not x windows.

So I type my root login and password, then I type cat install.log.
At file install.log there are some error like this
"error: db4error(-30982) from bla..bla ..bla..(there are many) .
DB_RUNRECOVERY : Fatal error, run database recovery."

Could you please help me, what's wrong with it ?
Why the x windows can't run ?
Why always appear login when I choose RH 9, and appear init id too fast ?
Is there some problem with my CD RH 9 program ?
