You need to copy your /etc/lilo.conf file to the /etc directory of
your SCSI disk, then:
chroot (mountpoint of your SCSI drive)
lilo -v
exit
Disable the IDE and see if the SCSI will now boot.
Rick, thanks for your reply. Tried your suggestion any time I disable
the IDE drive the system refuses to boot the most common result is
variations on the 'LILO' prompt.
