Hi,
I am trying to install Redhat 8.0 professional on a newer computer. I cannot
use the graphical installation, it will send me to the text if I try to use
it. Also when I try to complete the install in text it ask me "where I will
be installing the cdrom from", I choose "local cdrom". It then says to
choose the type of cdrom, it only gives me one choice "scsi". I am not using
a scsi drive so I cannot go any farther. Thanks for any help..
We need a bit more info. What kind of PC is it (name brand, motherboard
maker and CPU, disk configuration, etc.). Also, did you burn the CDs
yourself or are they purchased?
