Hi,
I am a complete newbie to RedHat/Linux and usually need very explicit
guiding.
Anyhow, I can't access my network and the problem seems to be that the
eth-card is, well, gone. The card has been recognized prevoiusly, but
somehow I have managed to erase it, and now I can't find it again. It
doesn't show as an oppertunity when I try to add one through newwork
konfiguration.
Also, RedHat 9 didn't seem to accept the ethernet driver enclosed with
my Asus A7V8X. In the release notes it says the driver has been run on
RedHat 8. Apparently, no new driver from Asus is available. Obviously,
everything worked under RedHat 8.
As mentioned, I am completely new to this, so please let me know if I
should refrase my questions/problems, enclose error messages, and so forth.
Thanks
Martin
