cat /proc/pci | less
and look for a stanza that mentions "Ethernet controller", and then
post that. There may be a suitable driver in the stock install.
Well, I did an install and nothing seems to work.
This is what the above shows:
Ethernet Controller: PCI device 14e4:4401 (Broadcom Corporation) (rev 1)
IRQ 5.
Master Capable. Latency = 32
Non-prefetchable 32 bit memory at 0xec000000 [0xec001fff].
Futhermore, when trying to use e.g. "insmod" I get this message:
bash: insmod: command not found
I do everything as root.
I downloaded the i386.iso images, which I believe it correct.
