Hi all-

I am running RH 9 with Gnome. My display resolution is 1280x1024. My problem is that my icons are larger in size than I would like. I know this is a picky thing, but I use a lot of shortcuts and I'm really limited with respect to how many I can use because the size of most of the icons. I know you can stretch and icon size and reduce or enlarge it by right-clicking on the icon and selecting "stretch icon" but this doesn't also allow you to reduce the font size of the icon label.

Any thoughts? Thanks in advance0

Think what your looking for is under "File Management" in the Preferences section of the Redhat menu. On the first tab its got a section called Icon view defaults, with settings to adjust the size.

Worked for me...
