gcc

I am having problems with my gcc-compiler. I can't even run hello.cpp. I 
get errors such as "undefined references to std::...". I have previously 
compiled cpp-programs without problems -- as late as last week. The only 
packages installed since then or changes made have been tex related.
There are some packages on disc 2 containing gcc material, but I believe 
they should be installed. I have browsed around for info but havn't 
found anything helpful. Does anyone have a hint?
