Hy Alex,
I've forgotten to say that I'm using VMware under XP professional.
Bye

Hi Antonio
I've found a possible fix.... but first, can I request that you don't
top-post? i.e. reply below the text you are replying to, not above. Top
posting makes following a thread difficult.... (I have chopped off the
rest of the thread so it is obvious that I am replying to your text above)
Now, I've found some interesting info: go to
http://www.computing.net/linux/wwwboard/forum/22329.html and search for
"Got a sucessful install last night". Basically, the gist is to have
vmWare mount the ISO file directly, and not isntall with an actual CD.
My problem is that I wanted to do it this way, but couldn't find a way
to make VMware let me change the ISO image which was mounted while the
linux virtual machine was running! Let me know if you have any luck.
