Re: /dev/cdrom disapeared



Have you been tinkering with ide-scsi? You seem to have lost an IDE drive
and gained a SCSI unit. Enabling ide-scsi (adding 'append "hdc=ide-scsi"'
to your /etc/lilo.conf (or grub or whatever) file would cause this.
