Asunto: help with corel files(upgrade)
"Corel Draw" is a windows graphic design program, its vector based; but the linux vector based programs i´ve tried don´t open the corel files; the most common file extension is ".cdr", ".cmx", and ".ai" this last i guess is from acrobat, but Corel can work fine with this.
the problem is: this files not are only images, i can´t treat it like bitmaps or something; the most common use for this files is "final art" a graphic design term that means this file its ready to make the "iron" and print the imge in a graphic arts machine.
