Mark,
	There are devices you can hook up to Unix machine and add as many
users as you like.  It's been so long since I've done it that I have
forgotten the names of the devices, but go to your local electronic store
and they can advise.  The only thing is the availability of software to
match.  If they are windows users then it would probably save a lot of time
in letting them continue what they know rather than expose them to something
they don't know.  Anyway that's my .02 cents.
