Linux Visibility on Microsoft Network

1st calculator, senior year of college was a Sinclair - I believe I still have it.  First computer VIC 20 traded in for a 64 where I taught myself machine language.  Amazing what could be done with all that memory.

Heheheh!  I had an HP45 in high school (I think it was 1974 when I
got it).  In college I got an HP21+, replaced it with a Corvus 500 (a
cross between an HP45 and a TI SR71), and eventually an HP65 (wow! mag
card program storage!).  I also carried two slide rules--just in case.
By the way, I still have all of those, except the HP21+ (sold it to
get the Corvus).

I flew to Albequerque in late '75 and picked up my MITS Altair 8800
(serial number 5), built it and beta-tested Microsoft 4K and 8K BASIC
(loaded off paper tape, no less--and yes, I still have that machine).
I also started managing the campus Data General Nova 2/10 mini (all of
32KB of core RAM) and directed the project that built a Xerox Sigma 7
mainframe from donated parts.  Geek to the extreme--before they started
using the term for people like me.

Life?  What's that?  Oh!  Probably the time I spend watching the inside
of my eyelids!  At least my dog and cat like me.  Ah, well!
