can't ping machine outside of company.

Hi,

I inherited a Linux box (RedHat 8.0) and try to set it up to
fit into my subnet. After changed IP address, gateway address, and reboot.
Everything looks fine except I am having difficulty to ping any site outside of
this company. for example "ping www.yahoo.com". The IP address
got resolved, but ping command yields on result. If I started the browser, I would get
"the connection was refused by attempting to contact www.yahoo.com". But I have
no problem on the other Linux box when try to used this same line.

I have no problem to ping router, DNS server, and there is no iptables command
running to block the traffic.

Any idea? Thank you for your help in advance.

Douglas
