That's not uncommon.  My guess is that the /etc/X11/XF86Config file is
in conflict.  There's two ways to get around it...use rpm's "--force"
or "--nodeps" options to force an overwrite of the files that conflict,
or rename the old file (to preserve it for later use) and do the
install:

	cd /etc/X11
	mv XF86Config XF86Config.preupdate
	rpm -ivh rpmname
