Hi,
I downloaded 5 of the 6 ISOs from the redhat ftp site to my windows xp
workstation (as well as a md5sum.exe to check them) and they all checked out
fine. Then I transferred them to my RH9 system (I need to rebuild the
kernel to do an install onto some troublesome hardware) using the Zmodem
transfer within SecureNetTerm 5.3.4.0. All the file sizes match, but the
checksums do not match anymore. I downloaded the 6th ISO from a closer
mirror site directly to the RH9 system, and its md5sum checks out fine. (I
used the zmodem transfer because ftp wasn't running on the server)
Should I be concerned about this? I am all up to date with antivirus on
my workstation, the RH9 system was just built on Tuesday and has no direct
connection to the outside world.
Thanks,
Mike
