128 Meg of RAM should be more than enough. IIRC, 64M is the minimum.
Please post the error message(s) and describe at what point the
install failed.

I think we need more information. The Hardware compatibility list
http://hardware.redhat.com/hcl/
turned up nothing useful. A Google of "TLAN TNETE100APGE linux"
turned up two hits, the second of which says it is supported in the
kernel. "TLAN", I gather, is short for ThunderLAN, based on a TI
chipset. If this is in the problem machine, wait until you get Linux
installed and we'll deal with it there.
