linux + exam info

Hi all,
i am a linux new bie and i know basic linux ,just got an ftp server up and am proud of my little achievement :)My next target is IPTABLES.
i wanted to know what would be a good course of study plan for linux + exam.Any good books anybody has read for the exam or any other stuff anybody knows about .
