Leila,
   I'm a bit worried when you say you heard clicking sounds that you may
have a hard drive that is failing. Do you have good backups on another
media? (I.e. - not another partition on this drive.)

   If not, please get stuff backed up right away for safety. Then at
least you have a chance of returning to normal if the drive fails over
then next few days or weeks.

   (Note to self. Do backups!!! Rick - let's talk about writing DVDs!)
