CTRL-ALT-BACKSPACE stops machine?

Look at this line of /etc/inittab:

# Trap CTRL-ALT-DELETE
ca::ctrlaltdel:/sbin/shutdown -t3 -r now

You can avoid with a comment:

#ca::ctrlaltdel:/sbin/shutdown -t3 -r now
