Will Nvu work in RedHat 9

Looks like I'll have to bite the bullet and switch over.
Has FC2 taken care of their UPGRADE option? 
Again - which is it better 
   (1) To UPGRADE    or 
   (2) Do a start fresh Install?

Always the most difficult question and least work is always convenient.
