Can you ssh into the machine from other machines on your LAN at home? That
would help isolate the problem. I've got a RH8 and RH9 machine at home
with SSH enabled. I can SSH into both of them on the LAN. I then have a
Linksys 8 port router between the DSL modem and the LAN. I have port
forwarding for SSH (port 22) set up to direct port 22 requests to the RH8
machine. I can access it from anywhere now using Tera Term SSH.
