Hi guys

I am trying to use the kickstart utility to install ES 3. I am having
problems from the start and not really able to diagnose what is
happening.

I created a boot diskette containing the boot.img file and I also
copied the ks.cfg file to the same directory on the floppy.

No matter what I do the same thing seems to happen. I get prompted for
my install media and then goes into an interactive install.

I edited the syslinux.cfg file to contain the following lines

default ks

prompt 10

label ks

            kernel vmlinuz

            append ks=floppy initrd=initrd.img

No matter what command I use at the boot: prompt the same thing will
happen.

Can anyone tell me why it seems to ignore the ks=floppy append I run on
the command line ?

Much appreciated

Thanks

Steve
