I've had some good suggestions on how to convert files to CD but
I'm still not able to get from the TAPE player to the Hard Drive.
I'm using "Sound Recorder" as it appears that it is the only
recorder that I loaded when I installed RH9. If I go into the
mixer everything looks OK - nothing is muted, under the MIC
column the REC box is checked and when I plug the tape player
into the MIC in on the sound card I do get sound out of the
speakers plugged into the sound card.
When I hit record it says recording but the slide bar doesn't
move nor does the counter count and when I stop there doesn't
seem to be anything to play.
I see the following problems
1 - Sound Recorder isn't working
2 - I'm not wired correctly
4 - I should be using a different program.
5 - I need to do something else with my life as this is so easy I
must be brain dead.
Any help out there?
Thanks,
