Redhat 9 Install on IBM T20

Hello,

I'm trying to install Redhat 9 on an IBM T20.  The
install went well, but I'm having problem with screen
resolution.  I have a S3 Savage IX8 video card that
was detected.  However, when I try and change display
settings it says to restart x for the changes to take
effect (which I do) but nothing happnes.  Any
suggestions anyone?
