Error code 8182

Hi all,
I am working on apache2 on Red Hat Linux release 3 with kernel 2.4.21-4.EL. Generated a key and certificate using HSM.
Copied the key and certificate files to the corresponding locations and edited the same in ssl.conf. When tried to browse the address https://localhost, raises Error code 8182.
Message "Could not establish an encrypted connection because certificate presented by localhost is invalid or corrupted. Error Code: -8182

Did anyone came across this situation. I will be thankful.. if any one can get me out of this situation...
