Minimal Install of RHEL 4

Hello,

I'm trying to do a *minimal* install of RedHat Linux. i.e. kernel,
shells, standard Unix userland utils, mailer, supporting libs etc.
Similar to what you'd get from installing, say NetBSD with just the base
and etc sets. No X, no fancy stuff.

But after un-checking all the options in the installer, I end up with a
list of packages a mile long, using > 1GB of disk.

What gives? Is the base RedHat install really this bloated?

Louis
