Dell Poweredge 2450 - Fedora 4 Locks

As suggested, i've tried TEXT MODE boot.

The system is stable.

Regarding the X-mode, could I try disabling the on-board
ATI Rage video and install a different pci video card to
see if it helps?

What size memory is in the system? This could be
swapping, a memory issue or a driver.
