ATI graphics on HP Pavilion zv6000

I'm working on getting DVD playback to work on this machine. Totem says
resources are not available. Xine drops frames. I have not yet loaded the
ATI graphics driver suggested at http://www.ensode.net/zv6015uslinux.html
. When I try it, I get the following conflicts:
