He's trying to mount it remotely via SMB. Note the line about them being on different servers.

can you post a
fdisk -l /dev/sda
or fdisk -l /dev/hda
then we should be able to say that it should be something similar to
mkdir /mnt/XP
mount -t ntfs /dev/sda2 /mnt/XP
