Problem installing RHEL 4 - problem with RAID and/or SATA drives?

This is what I have:

     Dell Optiplex 755
     2.2 GHz Core2 Duo CPU
     2 GB RAM
     250 GB mirrored RAID configuration using (2) 250 GB SATA drives

     RedHat EL ES RHEL 4 2.6.x on the CD set I have

When I try to boot from the Install CD, I just get a blank screen.  I can install Windows with no problem so I know it's not the hardware.  Is this a known problem and does anyone have a solution for it?
