Setting up hostname and x-windows won't loadup

Hi,

Just installed Redhat lastnight and I have two problems:

A) I was using x-windows and I was playing with modem and hostname settings
and I tried to connect to my ISP, however the screen hung on me so I
pressed "Ctrl+Alt+Backspace" to shut down the x-server. Then I did "startx"
to get back in but it wont let me, all I see is a screen with an "x" for a
mouse curser. I wait and wait but it never loads up. Any ideas on how to
fix this? 

B) In the network configurator I put Host: nelson , Domain: ihug.com.au But
what do I put for Name and NickNames in the Hosts section? at the moment it
reads:

IP			Name			NickNames
127.0.0.1	localhost		localhost.localdomain

(I dont run a network and I only dailup to my ISP which is ihug.com.au)
