Yep. Since 5.1. I had a parallel port zip when I installed RH 5.0 and it
worked
as a scsi device, but I could never print. Linux doesn't like to share
devices.
So I bought an internal atapi zip at the same time I installed RH 5.1.
Works fine and I can print too! If you've got a parallel port zip it's
probably sdc4 or something.
The internal zip since it will probably be master/slave with a CD will come
up as hdc4 or something.
Mine works fine and it's MUCH faster than the parallel port.
I'm a real linux newbie and not a computer guru either.
So, I would install 5.2 and let it "find" your zip. Just make sure you
have a zip disk in the drive when you do.
