Hello,
I have noticed a very strange thing: with X 3.3.3 installed libX11.so.6 is
included into all compiled binaries. In 3.3.2 everything is OK and all
compiled applications are linked against this library dynamically.
Does anybody know what this means? I find this very inconvenient to have
so many copies of this library on my HDD! :)
This problem persists no matter what compiler I use. I checked this for
pgcc-1.1a and stable gcc-2.7.2.
I'd appreciate any suggestions,
TIA,
Alexei
