Thanks guys.  I got everything up flawlessly last night.  (Well, the Epson
Stylus Color 600 on LPT1 is still a little funky.)

It turns out that I brain-farted on formatting my partitions my first time
around.

(For those who care...)

The reason it took 3 weeks is because the first time around, I used the RH
5.1 package.  I got it up but it was way-unstable.  I don't know if that is
because the installation wasn't solid or because I signed on too many times
as 'root'.  Anyway, I got the Cheapbytes CD for 5.2 thinking it might work
better.  It did.  (After surmounting above problem.)

Oh boy!  Now I can learn UNIX/LINUX.  I live in the AS/400 world now so this
might take a while.  (Hey, I gotta pay the rent.)

PS:  The first time around, I had a hell of a time with LILO.  Because I
kinda need Windoze on my system, I eventually went with LOADLIN.  It worked
great.  FWIW, you guys should push that option more often.  I'm betting a
lot of newbies like myself are using a dual-boot config as opposed to a
straight LINUX box.
