Printing to Netware Queue

I have a couple of questions about printing from RH5.2 to a Netware print
queue:

1.  I can get nprint to print to a 3.12 (bindary) server, but it does not seem
to want to print to a 4.11 (NDS) server.  Is there a fix?

2.  The old 'stairstep' (LF vs CR/LF) problem has appeared again.  All of the
textfiles print with the stairstep problem unless I run them through a little
unix2dos script I have.  Since I am mostly interested in printing
text/configuration files, I am wondering if there is a was to make the
conversion automatically, perhaps with a printcap entry? A script that
converts and then prints?
