Hi! I have a question about networking. My wife has the internet bug. So
I'm trying to build her a new "old"machine for just her and the kids!
They are not about to touch my system with linux, win, os/2 - I don't need
added problems! :) ) What I am "attempting" to do is build her an older
machine with a modem. If I'm out of town she could access the net with
Windows thru dial up networking, using the modem in HER computer! But if
I'M home, she would access the net thru a network card tied to my machine,
that was using a PPP connection with either win or preferably Linux. ( RH
5.1 ). I know hardware but honestly haven't done much networking other than
running cables and installing hubs. Is what I'm trying to do possible??
I think so! )??
Thanks!
Alan
