Did you use a .mc file?
What's wrong with the RH5.2 distributed sendmail/imapd?
Your obvious error is, that it tries to use /usr/libexec/mail.local to
deliver local mail, while RH5 seems to use procmail. Seems like RH doesn't
even come with any other local delivery agents. So grab yourself the
redhat.mc file and use it to generate your sendmail.cf :)
You could even consider reading a bit of www.sendmail.org :)
AND there is this nice THIN sendmail book by O'Reilly (sendmail can do
quite fascinating things with your Emails ;) )

Ok, consider this email canceled ;)
