RE: how to allow root for telnet (answered)



Thanks everyone who helped. I believe the answer I needed was to use the
su -l command not just use su. That will give me everything I was looking
for.

Edit your /etc/securetty file to include the telnet tty's... one per line
(i.e, ttyp0, ttyp1...)

The console ones are already in there... you'll get the idea :).
