I found boot disk images with the new driver @

ftp.teleport.com:/pub/users/deang/Linux/aic7xxx/Experiment

There should be a boot floppy available, and a 1Linux 2.0.7
patch file. You need a boot/root disk combination with
the newer driver on it - this should do it.
