Endless cycle of rebooting

Hello;

I left my computer running last night and this morning when I got up it was
stuck in an endless cycle of rebooting itself over and over again.

The hard drive is formatted and partitioned for Win 95, Win NT, and Linux.
The Windows versions boot from NT loader and I start Linux with a boot floppy.

I tried to get going in all three operating systems, but to no avail. It
didn't reboot at any particular point, it just seemed pretty random. In
Linux I never made it to the login prompt.

The farthest I got was starting NT in VGA mode; I was able to dial into my
ISP, collect the bunch of e-mails waiting for me, and then while reading
the e-mails, it rebooted itself again and started the endless reboot cycle.

I realize this is probably a hardware problem, since it doesn't seem to
matter which operating system I'm trying to use, but I was hoping with all
the expertise on this list that someone might have an answer as to what
might be wrong.

Regards,

Paul Greene

BTW: I could see by the headers downloaded this morning that there were a
lot of replies to my "Making a Linux CD" question; thanks to all who
answered; I just hope I get the chance to actually read what you all wrote!
