inetd problem

I use diald to establish the ppp connection, everything works fine, however
I always get the following line in /var/log/messages when a connection is
established:

inetd[733]: execv /usr/sbin/in.identd: No such file or directory

What is in.identd and what can I do to get rid of this error?
