RE: Trying to Upgrade gnome and the gnome list was of no help



just a blind newbie, but I ran into an rpm problem before by using a nasy PC
browser to download the rpm. The name of the file had some of the . replaced
with _, like gnome-libs-0_30_1-1_i386.rpm.

Try renaming it to gnome-libs-0.30.1-1.i386.rpm and see if this helps.

If not, then please excuse me.
