PPP Routing?

HELP!!!

I can connect to the internet and
ping my nameserver address, but I
cannot ping or connect to anything
else.

The PPP HOWTO says that I should
explore my system initialization
files to find out where the default
route is being set
up. I have RedHat 5.1. Tell me
what I have missed. Here is the
output from my ifconfig and route
commands:

[root localhost /root]# ifconfig
lo Link encap:Local Loopback

          inet addr:127.0.0.1

          RX packets:0 errors:0
dropped:0 overruns:0
          TX packets:0 errors:0
dropped:0 overruns:0

ppp0 Link encap:Point-to-Point

          RX packets:5 errors:0
dropped:0 overruns:0
          TX packets:5 errors:0

[root localhost /root]# route -n

Thanks in advance...
