ttf fonts scalable???

Hello,

today I finally managed to make X see ttf fonts installed using xfstt. I
did not post questions to these lists, but I used the answers given to
others. In any case I'd like to thank everybody who contributed to this
discussion. This has really helped me.

But I've got a little question: as far as I understand ttf fonts are
scalable under Windows. Now when I try to use the installed fonts in an
editor, for example, I have no possibility to scale them, as I can do when
dealing with usual X fonts. Does anybody know what the matter is? Is it a
problem of my installation or not?
