PANIC mounting root partition

Subject: PANIC mounting root partition

It happend when I boot with an image that I made after upgrading to 5.1, but it
does not with the one that leaves the upgrade program. What could be the reason
of this?
I been changing IDE, SCSI, BOOT options on the xconfig but there is no change.
I hope to heard any other suggestion.
