E-mail problem

Hi every one
After a month and half, finally i can connect to the net
using redhat 5, kernel 2.0.32
I have few questions,
In pine, i can send e-mail, no problem
but it sends as root istar ca
which is wrong, it should be myusername istar ca
how can i change it to the way it should be?
also, i mde another user and it send as myuser istar ca
I guess, as soon as i find how to correct one, the problem is solved
aslo, i did manage to use fetchmail in Pine and it works fine
i can get my e-mail
