has anyone managed to get a working mkbootdisk script on systems
equipped with a LS-120 SuperDisk drive? i can access my drive with
/dev/hdb on my system, but changing from /dev/fd0 to /dev/hdb in
mkbootdisk gives me screen garbage when booting with the created 1.44
Mb floppy. i also tried:
create /dev/hdb1 with fdisk, and use /dev/hdb1 in mkbootdisk in place
of /dev/fd0
add 'linear' in lilo.conf
but with no success so far...
any suggestions are welcome.
config: NEC Versa LX, RedHat 5.1
Julien
