Dear Igmar,

I have solved the Segmentation fault problem when trying to run ./setup
to install MicroStation 95 for Linux on RedHat Linux 5.1 by upgrading
the ncurses shared library to the current libncurses.so.1.9.9e. However,
now I am getting an 'Error opening terminal: linux' when I try to run
./setup from the text mode of Linux or 'Error opening terminal: xterm'
when trying to run ./setup from XFree86.

I remember that when I first had this problem with RedHat Linux 5.0 until I
set the terminal emulator to a specific type. I have to go back and remember
what terminal type I used then to make the ./setup program work.

Anyway, thank you very much for your help.

Sincerely,

David A. Smith
