Installing 5.1 mount failed

The installation of rh5.1 gives up with the message "mount failed".
I have also seen the 1300GB problem (diskdruid reports very large discs)

system: p200MMX, TX chipset, 96MB ram, 2*4.3GB fujitsu ide drives

Any suggestions?
