Samba + Win98 problem

I cannot map the samba shared directories in Win98 system. It 
gives the message Password Incorrect. While the password is 
correct and can map those samba shared directories through other 
Win95 systems.
Whether Win98 password verification method is different from 
Win95. If so what to do ?
